Add gifts from anywhere on the web
Browse Amazon (or any store), click once, and the product lands on the registry you choose — title, link, and photo included.
Install it
The extension installs as an "unpacked" extension — no Chrome Web Store needed. Takes about a minute.
Download & unzip
Grab the zip above and unzip it somewhere permanent (e.g. Documents) — Chrome loads the folder in place, so don't delete it afterwards.
Turn on Developer mode
Open chrome://extensions and flip the Developer mode toggle in the top-right corner.
Load unpacked
Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped registry-extensionfolder. Pin the icon from the puzzle-piece menu so it's always visible.
Add your first gift
Visit any Amazon product page and click the ＋ Add to registry button in the bottom-right corner. On other stores, click the toolbar icon instead.
Good to know
No credentials stored
The extension never sees your password — you sign in on this site, and adding items uses that same session.
Remembers your registry
The registry you used last time is preselected, so repeat adds are two clicks: open, add.
Updating
Download the newest zip, replace the folder's contents, then hit the reload arrow on chrome://extensions.
Options
It points at this site out of the box. Right-click the icon → Options to change the dashboard origin (e.g. for local development).
